today was great in every single way. my cheeks are rosy and still warm from the sun and i can taste exhausted bonfire smoke in my throat. i spent it with some of the best people in the universe and the worst part about it was having to come home.
today was one of those days where not much actually went wrong looking at it in hindsight, but it was just enough to kind of put the cherry on top of a stressful month and leave me crying at my mom’s desk at work. going to fall asleep reading and then stay there for a few days now blaahh
goal for the night is to save this otherwise perfect flannel from the horrendous bedazzling job someone decided to do.
There’s a lot of things I wish I had more time to do. Laying in the grass is easily top five on that list.

i slept on my glasses a few nights ago so they don’t sit right on my face anymore. looks like i’m breaking out the loud yellow ones until i order a new pair.
today i:
- woke up feeling peachy
- made delicious french toast for breakfast
- learned an iron and wine song on geetar
- made some final-ish decisions about what i’m doing next fall
- shot a roll of film, thought i ruined it. by some miracle it didn’t.
- got it processed for $2.35, CVS you rock
- booked a wedding for september
- got like two pounds of chinese food for 8 dollars !!!!
- realized i am a few papers and a photo project and a half away from summer
- man, life is good.
- my pinhole project that’s due tomorrow is finished.
- the research paper that was due yesterday is finally done and turned in.
- i’ve got half the film i need shot for my final done and processed.
- i have three more class days left then i’m freee as a bird for four months.
- pretty much sealed a job in grand haven today, now i just need an apartment.
- time to sit around and learn beirut songs on my babe all night.
